WAZZUP Tonight sat down with the new project, and soundly analyzed it in order to bring you the most precise review we possibly can. Check out what we came up with below!

via Facebook; Gibrilville captivating the crowd

Intro: Yes, yes, yes! That’s the way to bring in the album – wavey with a profound message. From the tone of the intro alone, you can tell the project is going to feature some substantial firepower.

Love & Hip Hop: Fire! Gibril depicts the passion for hip hop ever so poetically. “I Got A Story To Tell!” We hear ya. This joint is for folks that REALLY love and know hip hop – from “Parents Just Don’t Understand” to “God’s Plan” – you know what we’re saying! “Through the lights cameras and action, glamour glitters and gold I unfold the scroll, plant seeds to stampede the globe.” … THAT kind of vibe! Yes and the beat on this joint is slapping too  – rocky, peculiar, change ups, dips, and with a lil’ funky twist!

Gorilla (Ft. Kwaw Kese & Mantse Siuperfly): Where’s Eminem … ’cause we can hear him ALL over this remix! It just has that bluesy soulful feel, that on the remix you can hear Em or Nip (R.I.P) – right!? The guys do their thing on this track though, reaching down deep inside to deliver a smidget of the inner pain which dwells. And the drums and guitar – lawdy lawd! 🔊 “Don’t you ask me stupid questions!” Exactly.

So Painful: Whoa G … we didn’t know you was gon’ come like that! “So Painful” may be the illest joint we’ve heard from Gibrilville –  like dat. The pain throughout the whole track, lyrics and instrumental, just grab you; making you feel his pain and evaluate your own pain at the same time. 💣 song.

Trial & Error (Ft. Nathaniel): This has a BIG sound to it! The message in “Trial & Error” is compelling and a bit edifying as well. “I’m only human!” Now ain’t that the truth, ruth! And the beat is a straight soul bandit. Oh and, the video is the ultimate compliment! Solid all around the board.

Screwface (remix): Turn up city! 🤟🏿 “And I walk around wit big faces!” Whoo! The various sounds and instruments gel splendidly on this remix, getting you pumped – matter fact, this may even be a great addition to your workout playlist! The video is rocking on top of that. We don’t have hip-hop mosh pits but, if we ever do the “Screwface remix” will surely be body rocking the crowd.

Black Cadillac: This Big and Pac tribute is BANANAS! We can hear this song blasting out of a black Cadillac, too! The horns and lady singer send this track into a whole ‘nother orbit. And the sultry piano play … oh, melt your heart like buttered biscuits baby. On any highway on the East or West Coast you turn this up and drop the top, open the sunroof, stick your head out the window or something!

Rolling (Accapella): This stylish song is the lovechild of Wyclef and Bob Marley! “Ain’t nothing in the world you can do to save my life,” pretty much sums it up. Pass the ganja, pass the adult beverage, and get outta my zone.. We’ve heard many marijuana tribute over the years, though “Rolling” is poignant and palatable which makes it stand out. We’ll rock out with this, most def.

It’s All Right: Beat comes in hard! Love the bass and electronic sounds encompassing it – then the way it breaks down, freckin’ bullish! This track is surfy, and too exhilarating. “If – I – never – see – you- again, it’s allllright!” Yeah, ex’s and frenemies take that! You bump this while getting ready for work or school in the morning … get the day jumping!

Siren (Ft. Arra): So airy! And wow, the stories Gibril paints are utterly pictorial. The “let’s all just get along” message embedded in the song is the kind of vibe hip hop needs more of; because regardless of the differences, we’re all human and all the same. We can hear this track in/on a feature film soundtrack; just has that ambiance. R.I.P. Eric Garner and Trayvon Martin.

No Man Alone (FT Pablo G, Solystic, & Kat Bill): Yes, another inspirational song! “No man is an island, and no man stands alone,” is really saying for us to come together more and embrace one another—help lift each other up. So many persons in the world are trying to do things all by themself, and that self-absorbent mentality/attitude is the main reason for the upheaval today. Funkadelic instrumental too this joint boasts!

Hahahaha: Beat takes us back to the Lost Boyz days! Love too how Gibril is laughing all the way to the bank and at these unoriginal emcees in the game … “Ha ha ha ha ha!” The beat is stylish as well, but oh how we heart that electric guitar! This joint is for all the surefooted ladies n’ gents out in the free world, chuckling at any and all opposition. ‘Nuff said.

Buy my mama a crib: Electric Rock, Jazz, and Hip Hop all mixed in one on this beat! After listening to this song, it simply makes us want to meet Gibril’s momma! She sounds like a lovely lady and mainly just wants the best for her son. And what better way to repay your moms, by buying her a big fat crib! “Buy my mama a crib” is the new age “Dear Momma,” but with a punky spin. Listen with a tissue, because it could turn on the waterworks!

Black Cadillac (Remix): Gotta see Gibrilville play this song with the band LIVE! This is Gibril unplugged to the fullest – we can see the crowd wearing Biggie & Pac t-shirts, holding up lighters whilst rocking with G! This track is scorching, and the perfect way to seal the LP. At some music festival in the near future, we better see you on stage Gibril slaying “Black Cadillac (remix)” … just don’t forget to send us tickets!
