Academy Awards 2018Los Angeles, CA — The 90th Academy Awards is in the history books. The show, which aired Sunday, March 4, saluted the best motion pictures of 2017 and the creators behind them.

Kobe Bryant even took home an Oscar … yes, it was that kind of night! Nominated for an astounding 13 Oscars, it was The Shape of Water, directed and written by Guillermo del Toro, that took home the gold trophies for Best Picture, Best Director, Original Score and Production Design.

Jordan Peele became the first African American to win an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for Get OutGary Oldman won Best Actor for his role as Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour, while Frances McDormand won Best Actress for her performance in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
