Megan Thee Stallion Unable To Release Music Due To Label Contract Dispute

Coming off of a sizzling unveiling in 2019, Megan Thee Stallion hopped on Instagram to explain why she hasn’t released any new music this year.

She disclosed that her record label, 1501 Ent, isn’t allowing her to put out any new songs because she recently requested a renegotiation of the contract that she signed several years back.

Megan emphasized that she was roughly 20-years-old when she inked a deal with 1501, and she wasn’t cognizant of some stipulations in the agreement until Roc Nation probed her about them. When the rapper went to 1501 to re-examine, she alleges that “things went left,” and presently they are preventing her from dropping anything, which she feels is egocentric.
