New York, NY – What’s the 411, I ask? In a pandemic filled 2020, the answer could leave one to speculate or anticipate the worst! Enter stage left, Dre B walks in and drops a jewel to revitalize the Industry with his year ending positive and upbeat sophomore project “Black Visionary 2”. The album boasts 16 well produced tracks, laced with knowledge, vision, and of course, living the good life. The lead off track, “The Vision”, accompanied by visuals shot by JL Studios, sets the tone of a strong Black Man with a gift and purpose to uplift those whom may find themselves without hope. Dre B, is no rookie to the come up, as with the classic, Black Visionary I, the grind and road map to the bag is elementary. The Black Visionary 2 accommodates the streets while adding energy to the struggle with hits like “Black Lives Matter” featuring Lady Boss, “Pray for Me”, and my favorite, “Expectations”, which sums up Dre B’s commitment and desire to leave a foundation for the culture.

Make no mistakes about it, Dre B is a lyricist. No matter if ya wanna it gangsta, as “HawkEm” Down featuring 5amson, or perhaps you want bar 4 bar “Goin In”, Dre B fits the bill; however, on “Touche” Dre B serenades the ladies with his sultry r&b vocals laced over a French Montana type beat. From A to Z, Dre-B delivers the complete repertoire of versatility on BV2, I’m still trying to catch my breath from the summer anthem, “Let Me See” produced by RealisticBeatz with Chi the Engineer adding the sauce which made this catchy tune a most requested single from Waco to Montgomery, Alabama. The Freestyle Dance Studio of Killeen added spice to the visuals with dancers and choreography which made “Let Me See” a favorite for all ages.
