The Votes are In | Propain “Jody & Yvette” ft Kentheman a Certified Classic

New York, NY ~ Well folks, if you haven’t heard of Propain, your probably half dead or past the point of relevancy in todays’ hip hop scene.  Propain is the future wave of hip hop, Period!  Reigning from H-Town (Houston, Texas), Propain is making good on his promise to put the city on his back while blazing a trail throughout the industry with his latest project, “If We Never Speak Again”.  Real Talk, this album just might be a candidate for Album of the Year.  Let me put all that aside, as I get into the joint, “Jody and Yvette” featuring the beautiful mc Kentheman. Produced by the hottest producer coming out the H, DJ XO who is having an amazing year puts his foot in this one.  The song features a snippet from the Warren G and Nate Dogg Regulators, then drifts into dialogue between Jody (Propain) and Yvette (Kentheman) which is absolutely amazing. DJ XO keeps the tempo in tune with the Michael McDonald’s “I Keep Forgettin” as Propain and Kentheman brings back the lovers quarrel from Baby Boy.

The creativity and content displayed on “Jody and Yvette” is a heart felt battle of a playboy on the run that still wants his woman to be his woman.  Fellas, you will instantly fall into character when Propain spits, while  ladies will definitely feel Kentheman’s authentic comeback for every excuse. To be honest with you, this song could easily cause a riot in your relationship, if it isn’t on solid ground, Beware!  

I think It can speaks volumes, when I hear Propain music in the streets and Burroughs of New York. Its a testament of the hard work and dedication Propain puts into every bar he writes. At first glance, your mesmerized by the delivery; however, its the content injected that captures the listener. Don’t take my word, go stream Propain’s new album “In Case We Never Speak Again”\
