Wazzup Xclusive|President Trump suggest “Inject yourself with Disinfectant”

New York, NY- When you thought you’ve heard it all, entering stage left, comes The President of the United States. President Donald Trump, fresh off backlash from his previous suggestion that hydroxychloroquine should be taken as an effective treatment for the COVID-19 pandemic, added a bazar alternative Thursday at his press conference. After a White House science official, Bill Bryan presented research that disinfectants and sun light may kill the coronavirus on surfaces, the President took to the podium and emphatically made his revelation, “Why not get those things inside the body and kill off the virus.” Whoa, not only did the President suggest injecting disinfectants into the body, but he also suggested that if sunlight could be bottled, it would act as an antibody to the coronavirus.

“This notion of injecting or ingesting any type of cleansing product into the body is irresponsible, and it’s dangerous,” pulmonologist and world renown health expert Dr. Vin Gupta  told NBC News about the president’s comments. “It’s a common method that people utilize when they want to kill themselves.” At a time when the world is looking for guidance and peace, the President’s rhetoric gives both false hope and irresponsible acts that could make situations worse. A leading global disinfectant maker has been forced to warn consumers against injecting or drinking its products after Donald Trump asked if it could help treat the coronavirus. Reckitt Benckiser, the maker of UK cleaning brand Dettol and US brand Lysol, issued the stark advice to consumers on Friday, saying it had a responsibility to help with “myth-busting.” “As a global leader in health and hygiene products, we must be clear that under no circumstance should our disinfectant products be administered into the human body,” it said in a statement on its website.
