November 9th, 2016 – A day that will be forever known as, “The Day After” to many U.S. Citizens across the Globe. The entire Nation witnessed a Presidential Election which ultimately resulted in a Republican underdog carrying the 270 Electoral College votes required to take the White House!
While many Americans celebrated in sheer jubilation, yet in still, another sector of the Country pondered in fear of what might be! However, just a few blocks away from President Elect Donald Trump corporate headquarters in Manhattan, NY., the Entertainment World took a bow to the Wazzup Media Group, star studded Brand Launch at The Vanity Club.
The Brand Launch, powered by Playbook Media Group, also featured the birthday celebration of Co-Ceo Dwayne D-teck Grant, Thisis50.com’s own Kevin Weekes, and Dj Rob E Rob. An Epic Celebration, the night served as an icebreaking declaration, far from the uncertainties that the rest of the country was enduring. For on that historic Wednesday, the World witnessed Wazzup Media Group’s introduction into the Industry spotlight.
Wazzup Media Group, a newly formed entertainment conglomerate headed by Konvict Muzik’s Dwayne “D-Teck” Grant and Rosemary Ducharme is the talk of the Recording Industry as of late. Deservingly so! Unlike many entertainment companies, Wazzup offers a culture that personifies the“against the grain” marketing approach leaving footprints in the minds of the beholder! “We believe that every genre of music has a story & that’s Wazzup” exclaimed D-Teck. The Board of Directors ~ VP Lamont Bracy , Anthony Walker, Aaron Granger , Rashaun Will, Andre Foster , Edward Güereque, and Seryne added a warm, personalized feel to the evening by greeting patrons individually at the door.
Hosted by the beautiful Marie Driven, the night was a red carpet extravaganza that featured exclusive celebrity guests such as Ron Browz, Dylan Dilinjah from Making the Band, Jack Thriller, Driicky Graham, Stylist Kidear, and celebrity makeup Artist Mizz Mique just to name a few. Every star was met with complimentary bottles of Effen Vodka. To add a flare to the euphoric elegance, special cupcakes by Steelz, alongside custom Wazzup Media Group chocolate bars by Chocolate Wonders After All added pizazz.
As the patrons sipped on Stolen Rum while grooving to the sounds of DJ Xclusive, DJ Moka , DJ Furious and DJ FujiSlim of Sirius XM; D-Teck showcased a few artists that would be heard on WazzupRadio.net and Wazzuptonight.com . Amongst the performers were Re$$, Zach Nappi, Dev Amil, and J Perks. The featured act for the Launch was The Muscle Team: JV and Franco Osiago with Billboard Top 10 Viral Charting Artist Ted Park serving it up as the Main Act. But it didn’t stop there; International artist Driicky Graham passed by and performed as well.
The launch was sponsored by Effen Vodka, Karizza Photography , CocoRicco Marketing, Stolen Rum, Custom 101 Prints , Bailey Photography, Chocolate Wonders After All , Mique Ink, and Thisis50.com. Celebrity Chef, Shawnae Dixon “Say Grace” catered the epic event. Shawnae Dixon, in conjunction with several non-profits, baked cupcakes that were sold to raise money for the toys 4 kids Christmas camaign.
