Wazzup Exclusive: Hip-Hop Artist Distruck Ignites Industry with his New Label, Xplosive Records
Yonkers, New York native Distruck has been extremely busy for the past few years! In May of 2020 he started his own record label Xplosive Records and signed himself as the label’s first artist! Since then he has released 3 singles. The first one titled Blessings feat. Nigerian artist K2Kay received a nomination for an Intercontinental Music Award! The second single Stretch & Flex feat. Coti Coti was a complete switch up from the first and was a smash hit! The current single I’m Litty is the biggest single he’s released so far! This song needs to be playing on all radio stations, in mobile devices, and in whips everywhere! Just ask Hot 97’s own DJ Drewski! He consigned the song in their recent interview at Studio Square Recordings! The first album off the record label is titled No Substitute and will be released April 29th.
Aside from running his own label and releasing bangers at the same time, Distruck also is a business partner of Karine Sho-time Thornton who owns his own media company and battle rap league. He plays a major role behind the scenes getting events ready and making sure everyone who attends has a great time and is well taken care of. He’ll also get up on stage and perform a few of his hit singles.
It doesn’t stop there! He also is a cast member a hit off Broadway show called Ghetto Chronicles A Hip Hop Musical Revue that had 6 sold out shows! He’s also set to make his big screen debut real soon under Street Line Video owned by Vera Edwards! It’s never break time for this young man!
