FlowGod Interview (Get to Know FlowGod)

WazzupTonight: Tell WT about your musical background?

FlowGod: I started writing lyrics at the age of 10 in Bushwick Brooklyn for fun. I didn’t think much of it until I got to high school where I met 2 friends who were a little older than me and took it more serious. We then formed a group for a while until I eventually broke away and started doing my own music. I went on the music path of self enlightenment and seeing what me being an artist really means to me. This is kind of music you hear me write currently.

WazzupTonight: Who has been the biggest influence on your career?

FlowGod: The biggest influence is my environment and experiences. I stay true to myself when I write my music, I don’t pretend to be anything I’m not and feel that is part of what makes my music unique.

WazzupTonight: What makes your style “Swag” different from others?

FlowGod: The reason I feel I’m unique is I make everyday hustle sound good to the ear so people who listen to me can relate while jamming.

WazzupTonight: Who have you worked with in the Industry?

FlowGod: I’ve worked with Mike Shorey, Lil Jufu, PapiKaiser, Mulla Mitch, Ice T, Neek Bucks, Rick Steel, Hoodie Allen.

WazzupTonight: What’s been your pivotal moment as a recording artist?

FlowGod: The most pivotal moment so far is when I performed in Phoenix. This was my first time performing in front of thousands of people and alongside west coast legends, and Phoenix loved me. This showed me I really had what it takes to do it on a high level.

WazzupTonight: Now, tell me about your latest, or soon to be released project?

FlowGod: My latest project is the new single Warming Up. I believe this song can be one of the Summer Jams! This can be a Harlem hit. I’m thinking just as big as “No Music” Voice of Harlem. I can see all of my young Harlem boys getting sturdy to this one.

WazzupTonight: Any upcoming events, or shows?

FlowGod:  In July I’m set to perform in Phoenix. I will keep ya’ll updated, whether it be a 2 day festival or a short weekly tour.

WazzupTonight: What’s Next for FlowGod?

FlowGod: The next step in my career is to show New York then the world I’m one of the ones.
The ultimate goal is to spread as much positivity and good vibes as possible. In this world where negativity is everywhere, I feel the voice of positivity easily gets drowned out.
