Truly Divine Exclusive Interview With The Glenn Report
1. Who is Truly Divine and where are you from? My name is Lewis (TrulyDivine) Corwise and I’m from NYC South Side Jamaica Queens
2. How was life growing up for you? Life was real for me growing up. I was struggling and hustling.
3. How did you get your first start in the music industry? I first started doing music after a elementary school play when I was younger. A friend and I performed Diddy’s “MISSING YOU” Biggie Smalls tribute and I’ve been learning and doing music ever since.
4. How would you describe yourself as an artist? Versatile, talented, well rounded open minded to all type of music, and driven.
5. What is your mission in life? My mission is to make a better life for myself and loved ones. I would also like to inspire the world.
6. Do you have a brand if so what does it represent? My brand is MGMTV and it represent the lifestyle that we live.
7. Who have you worked with in the music business? I have not worked with any major label artist yet. All the artist I have worked with are up and coming like myself.
8. I see you have your own Film Production TV Network on YouTube. What is the name of it and what inspired you to start it? The name of my film production company is MGMTV where I presents OTHER ARTIST on my YouTube channel. I also enjoy promotiong all aspects of the music culture. I was inspired to create it due to my own experiences of not having the help needed to promote my music.
9. Who are some of your influences? I am open minded to all music and my favorite artist is 2pac.
10. What media outlets have you been featured on? I have not been on any media outlets yet that is currently being worked on.
11. Have you ever been interviewed on any indie or college radio? If so which ones and by who? I have been on xtreme104fm The Unapologetic Radio Show and I was interviewed by @dax_douglass
12. Are you involved in any other business ventures besides music? I have my production company MoneyGirlsMusicTv (MGMTV). I am a brand ambrassador for @VinyettClothing also welcoming all other clothing lines that need assistance with promotion. I also help work with troubled youth at a center known as the DOME PROJECT.
13. Where have you performed and who have you opened up for? I have not open up for any major acts as of yet. I have performed at Nassau Community College, Lit lounge, Green City Lounge, Tammany Hall, Fusion Lounge, Elite Lounge, Skyroom, Club Purlieu, and MTV Lounge in ATL.
14. What singles are you currently pushing right now? I have two new singles I’m finishing now that I am soon to drop. “SEEN HER IN THE CLUB” and “F****ING (Effen)” will be the new Club Bangers.
