As far as hottest mixtapes of this year — several projects have been the topic of debates inside of barbershops around the cities, such as Friday On Elm Street (by Fabolous & Jadakiss) and Gangsta B*tch Music Vol 2 (by Cardi B). However, WAZZUP Tonight‘s here to set the record straight and inform you that Safaree Samuels‘ latest mixtape (Fur Coat Vol. 1) is the most John Blaze mixtape on the streets right now and is perhaps the hottest mixtape to drop in 2017, period!
Now as this news may come as a shocker to some, to real hip-hop heads, it is no shock at all. Safaree is well-known for his pen game; for he served as ghostwriter behind many of his ex‘s lyrics and songs. Therefore, it makes total sense that he would be a beast on the mic. Since separating himself from his world-renowned former beau, Safaree has been on warpath in the industry — killing everything from reality shows to public appearances/performances to mixtapes.
And, it doesn’t look like he’s slowing down anytime soon.
Of course we can tell you that Safaree’s mixtape is fire all day, though . . . action speaks louder than words. Thereby, we personally listened to Fur Coat Vol. 1 and have put together a brief overview of each song off of the project (below). Check it out:

“Thomas Edison”: Whoa watch the volume . . because this is BLOW Your Damn SPEAKERS OUT music no doubt!

“What She Want”: Commercial Type Joint. Safaree’s verse though . . . WHOA!
“Shade Room”: The “Shade Room” is (what the streets call) REAL N**** Music! Lames need not tune in.
“Lyrical Overlord”: Omg, this is LEFT LANE On The TURNPIKE music! Just get out the way (Luda voice).
“Funk Flex Freestyle”: Finally, a GENUINE freestyle on Flex! Safaree went in, no diggity.
