Mitchell Jackson was born on December 13, 1977, in Miami, Florida to Pearley Jackson and Mitchell Harden. His original stage name, Obadiah, comes from the bible which means “servant of God” or “worshipper of Yah.” He relocated to Tallahassee, Fl. and met Charlton G Stevens (Mista Kingz) where he explored many different musical outlets. He performed on Showtime at the Apollo (2005) as a amateur on the same episode as Lyfe Jennings. Obadiah and Mista Kingz opened up at Morehouse College for Nappy Roots and Lil Jon in (2001). He has shared the stage with performers like Tank, Ginuwine, Mista Kingz and Nappy Heads/T. Pain at FAMU homecoming in (2002). Obadiah has been a featured artist on excitementradio.com on “The Best Kept Secret” show along with a live interview.

“Rain” is also featured on the gr8fm.com and Strong Arm Radio. In addition, the song “Rain” currently is a potential prospect for an Independent movie.He chose “RAIN” as his single due to “it represents sadness, rejection or sorrow. Rain weakens sunlight, it initiates human emotions of darkness and depression.”
