New Music: P Fire – You Could Never

Las Vegas-based recording artist P. Fire is aiming directly at his critics and setting the record straight in his newest single, “You Could Never”. The track features hard-hitting production from frequent collaborator and Houston’s own, Juss Swoop. P’s braggadocious flow being amplified as he bears no restraint when addressing his haters. Quickly acknowledging that there’s a clear difference that anyone could try to make up for but if the song title gives us any indication on how that’d go then the answer is simple – you could never.

In his first single since he recently stepped away from his role as French Montana’s hype man – a position he’s held since 2019 – it’s clear that P. Fire is as serious about his solo career as an artist as ever. He’s wrapping up a huge 2022 that saw him make an appearance on Wiz Khalifa’s ‘G Rage’ album. The two have been close since their days on the road for Wiz’s Decent Exposure Tour in 2019.

“You Could Never” is just as much a song about self-validation and celebrating yourself as it is about flexing on any naysayers.

“I eat better, my feets better/ Versace sheets, I sleep better / 20k for these crowns, no chiclets, my teeth better / You better know better, f**k cloth seats, those leathers,” P. Fire boasts.
P. Fire’s newest single is as multifaceted as he is quickly going from shooting braggadocious shots to a commemorative anthem about the magnitude of one’s accomplishments. If anything, this track shows the versatility he carries as an artist. Throughout his career, he has thrived by being able to rap over any instrumental given to him. Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, it looks like they’ve found one of their next great emcees.
