New York, New York – Don’t call it a comeback, but my man Keffaleng has been here for years, so at least it seems! The 21-year old Toronto native is turning heads and shaking dreads as his new EP “Not So Famous” has become the number One talked about album on the streets. With all the crazy “Trump” Talk hogging the headlines; Trust Me, its no easy feat to consistently remain the topic of discussion. The Project is Good, and not just Good, It’s GREAT! Keffaleng drives in a different lane than most by yielding where fame and exploited dreams live, and taking the exiting on the humble road. So many overdose on greed and vanity as they blow up and implode of their own hype; however, this singer, songwriter, and producer induces the masses with a 7 track masterpiece that embodies the arrival of a superstar.
With a strong base set up by last summers’ successful EP “Still Shanti”, Keffaleng takes up where he left off by pulling no punches on Not So Famous. Let’s dive straight in with the EP’s title track, Not So Famous, produced by Yani, the track goes straight in with a instant falsetto of dopeness meets wordplay. From there you must take for consideration, the track, “Yeah, Yeah” which features Def Jam Recording Artist Amir Obe speaking on real time dialogue between the inner man and that one down chick. I told you this project is dope! Executive produced by Aaron Alem & Aatesh Chandra, the EP is more than a declaration cry to the World, but yet, a strong statement announcing a takeover.
