Justin Bieber | First Musician To Have 3 Songs Reach 1 Billion Streams!

Los Angeles, CA — Thanks to the latest success of both “Despacito” and “Love Yourself,” Justin Bieber is now the only musician who has 3 songs on Spotify that have been played at least one billion times.

The two singles join Biebs‘ other cherished pop tune “Sorry,” which became the fifth song on Spotify to reach one billion streams (and the Pop icon’s first) last year. By attaining a third, the Killing Hasselhoff actor passes fellow singer Ed Sheeran, who is the only other musician with more than one song with a billion-plus streams.

All three super-popular tunes of Bieber’s spent a minimum of one week at No. 1 in the U.S., and they were all international sensations. Superbly, two of the tracks (“Love Yourself” and “Sorry”) were featured on his lastest album Purpose, while “Despacito” is not included on any album.

Bieber, currently has a pair of tracks (“What Do You Mean?” and his DJ Snake collab “Let Me Love You”) that are gearing up to pass 900 million streams. Which means, he’ll soon become the first musician with four (and then five..) songs that have been streamed 1 billion times on the world’s most popular streaming outlet.
