New York, NY – Apparently, cruising around Brooklyn in a Red Maserati Convertible on Christmas is not ideal these days? Crown Heights rapper, Troy Ave is currently recovering after being shot twice while on his way to visit family in Brooklyn. The incident occurred at the corner of East 91st Street and Linden Boulevard in the Canarsie section at around 4:20 p.m.
According to reports, an armed assailant walked up and opened fire on Troy Ave while he was in a stopped position. It is said that a round of bullets was fired; however, one struck the rapper in the arm, while another grazed his head. At press time, it has been confirmed that the injuries are non-life threatening and Troy Ave is expected to make a full recovery. As you may recall, in May of this year, Troy was shot in the leg while attending a T.I. concert at Irving Plaza in New York City.
Statement issued by Troy Ave’s lawyer, Scott Leemon:
“Tonight, Troy Ave was targeted again… on Christmas. In Brooklyn, going to meet his family for the holiday, he was shot two times. Thankfully, he will survive the second attempt on his life.”
According to reports, there was also a female inside of the car with Troy to whom we believe was not injured in the event. Although the investigation is ongoing, we will continue to bring news as the facts pour in. ~ Renzo

Just moments ago, 50 Cent visited Troy and shared the moment on Instagram while posting the caption, “Dope boy Troy all good, Merry Christmas”.
