Wazzup Xclusive | Kendrick Lamar Drops Epic New Album “DAMN” | @wazzuptonight

New York, New York –  Can we get an encore, for hip-hop royalty, Kendrick Lamar? Since the surprise announcement of Kendrick’s 4th studio album entitled “DAMN”, social media has been on frenzy. I’m sure you all remember the praise and confirmation of greatness he received with the last album, “To Pimp A Butterfly,” and subsequently the grammy’s that followed. Deservingly so, well we can expect even more of an uproar with the release of “DAMN”.  The 14 track studio album is said to be produced by the likes of Alchemist, Mike WiLL Made-it, DJ DAHI, 9TH Wonder, Cardo, Terrace Martin, and BADBADNOTGOOD. Lamar remarked on the “DAMN” album: “My focus is ultimately going back to my community and the other communities around the world where they’re doing the groundwork. To Pimp a Butterfly was addressing the problem. I’m in a space now where I’m not addressing the problem anymore.” With straight to the point song titles such as “God”, “Love”, and even his last name, “Duckworth” Kendrick Lamar promises to give it to ya raw and uncut with each blazing track.
G.O.A.T (GREATEST OF ALL TIMES)
Well, perhaps so! In a career that has been short lived thus far, Kendrick Lamar has emerged from the streets of Compton, California as one of the most cultural and artistic artist since the late great Tupac Shakur.  Kendrick Lamar accomplishments can only be compared to the likes of Lil Wayne, Kanye, and yes, Drake. That’s pretty impressive company.
In March, Kendrick dropped a jewel from the “DAMN” album with a powerful single, “Humble” produced by Mike WiLL Made-it.  The visual is a provocative look into the overzealous persona of greed.  The video is sure to spark the conversation at water cooler. The single is a call for a humbleness thats not always transparent in a industry saturated with vanity and ego’s. With feature collaborations from Rihanna and the legendary U2, you can bet your bottom dollar  the album is full of powerful messages that is sure to resonate with the masses.
I just listened to the entire 14-track masterpiece, and I’m telling you Kendrick Lamar has a unbelievable gift that will enlighten the World. Catch Kendrick Lamar as he headlines the “Coachella” two week music festival next month.
Of course, what would an album review be without the newly found master of music, Lebron James. Yes, the album was reviewed by King James himself, peep the King’s reaction below!

Well Folks, Without Further Ado, Stream The DAMN Album Below, Enjoy!
