What a card? To think hip-hop Mogul Curtis “50Cent” Jackson was the catalyst that placed all the pieces on the board.
In the past 10 days’, 50Cent has taken to Instagram with up to the minute updates regarding the Soulja Boy and Chris Brown match. Even though 50Cent said it was going to happen, things took on a whole new dynamic when the Champ, Floyd “Money” Mayweather said his Mayweather Promotions would promote the fight. 50Cent, being the business man that he is; saw the perfect opportunity to reach out to the two NBA stars to bring the long awaited feud to a head. What a Opportunity!
The feud between Kenyon Martin and Tim Thomas has been ongoing for over 10 years now. A charity fighting bout almost happened in May, but was scrapped due to the conflict of schedules.
Tim Thomas played 13 years in the League, most notably with the Milwaukee Bucks and Kenyon Martin who played 15 years, most notably with the Knicks have been throwing verbal blows for almost a decade. The feud even turned violent with a altercation that took place in a Dallas nightclub in the 2004 season. Well thanks to 50, it looks like air and opportunity will finally meet in the ring! Ding! Ding!
