50 Cent Superhero Drama ‘Tomorrow, Today’

Los Angeles, CA – Platinum Rapper ✔, Record Label Exec ✔, Actor ✔, Executive Producer ✔, it seems  Mr. Curtis Jackson, a.k.a. 50 Cent, is checking accomplishments off the bucket list at an alarming rate! A real Superhero of sorts!  No silly, I’m not talking about 50 Cent himself!  The Superhero I make mention to is in reference to the fictional character created in 50’s made for network drama, “Tomorrow, Today“.

The “Tomorrow, Today” Superhero Series  is part of 50 Cent’s overall deal with the Starz network.  The development of the new TV show has many projecting the record-shattering results as the popular crime drama “Power”.  One thing is certain, 50 has the Midas touch that resonates with the fastest growing demographic market (viewers ages 16 -40).  It’s one thing to convert viewers from existing shows, it’s another to form unique viewers from thin air!  The expanded agreement will solidify 50’s partnership with  the network giant STARZ through September 2018. Under the said agreement, G-Unit Films and Television will develop the series along with the already successful Power Series showcasing Mr. Jackson’s producing skills.

“I am looking forward to continuing my relationship with my Starz family, we’ve had great success together on Power and I’m excited to get going on all of our upcoming projects,” Jackson said in a statement. “I knew Starz would be the perfect home for Tomorrow, Today. This project is very personal to me!  Creating, writing, finding the best team! I will continue to be involved every step of the way.”~Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson

Tomorrow, Today

Executive Producer: Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Anthony Cipriano, Dan Kay and Kirkland Morris

From the mind of director/producer 50 cent,  comes the superhero drama “Tomorrow, Today”!  The narrative  follows a war veteran from Chicago’s south side who becomes falsely imprisoned.  Upon release, the war veteran becomes the test target of a deranged prison doctor set on creating a perfect killing machine. How Convenient? Finally set free, but on the run, the veteran must reconcile with the world that has turned against him! Talking about drama! As a  twist of fate, the war veteran decides to use his newfound abilities for good.”
No word yet on when the series will debut.

The announcement of the Superhero drama comes just after the season three debut of  “Power” broke viewership records for Starz!  As a consequence, the show was renewed for a fourth and fifth seasons. Just earlier this week, A&E announced that “50 Cent”  he will host and produce a variety series for the network titled “50 Cent Presents.”  With a host of network shows, product endorsements, and rumors of a mix-tape by years end, it seems the Entertainment Mogul has  no plans to slow down!  Can you say…..g….g…..g…..ggg Unit! – Renzo
