New York, New York – Once every blue moon comes along a musical project that has the “It” factor! You know? The one cd you just can’t take off repeat! Well by golly, meet Joyce Wrice! The beautiful singer / songwriter from San Diego, CA by way of Los Angeles has arrived indeed with her new EP, Stay Around! Released in May, the EP continues to gain momentum on music platforms World-Wide thanks to the single and visual “Do You Love Me”. The six track EP features production from Chuck Le Garcon, J.lbs, MNDSGN, and SiR.
Joyce Wrice first registered on the National radar in 2015, with her first commercial single, “Ain’t No Need”, produced by Mndsgn and Dj Harrison. A powerful melodic track backed with easy but powerful vocals created a buzz giving way to opportunities. From the days of mimicking childhood idol “Tamia”, to uploading cover songs on youtube, Joyce Wrice had an uncanny gift for stardom! Yet it wasn’t until Joyce met L.A. producers Polyester and D.K. the Punisher that the reality of a career was actually realized. The production duo enlisted Joyce golden vocals on several local projects and hooks for up and coming rappers. That’s all it took; before long the music traveled, and landed into the hands of up and coming production wizards, Mndsgn and SiR…. The Rest is History!
Joyce take listeners on a journey of love ups and downs throughout the “Stay Around” project! You can’t help but reminisce on tracks such as “You used to Love Me”, and “Home Alone”- real sensual compositions, sending one into deep orbits of forget me not’s! You’ll never miss a good thing, till it’s gone! But Fellas, don’t fret….Joyce shows a more gentle side with the title track “Stay Around”, expressing a well deserving appreciation for her man!
