Trouble Gets His Own Billboard In Atlanta

Cam Kirk has put another local Atlanta star in the sky.

Trouble is the latest regional phenomenon to get his own billboard thanks to the exquisite photographer Cam Kirk.

The billboard is on the corner of Memorial and Moreland Ave. right now if you’re in ATL.

It’s the second billboard Cam has thrown up after Bankroll Fresh was memorialized with one on the corner of 10th Street and Northside Drive earlier this year.

To people across the country, it might be a little confusing. Trouble and Bankroll Fresh aren’t exactly national superstars, but within the city of Atlanta, they are.

As Cam Kirk told Pigeons & Planes in an April interview, “A lot of people don’t see it like this, but to us here in Atlanta, Bankroll Fresh is an icon.”

The billboards are part of Kirk’s Day 4 exhibit.

Initially funded in part by Atlanta producers like Metro Boomin, Sonny Digital, and Southside.

In a sense, these billboards indicate the beliefs of locals; yes, these are stars, no matter the fact that national media widely ignore them.

The people of Atlanta know it, and that’s all that matters.

The billboards don’t need to be all over the country, just high in the air in the city that cares for the artist displayed on them.

Seeing these acknowledgments gives citizens something to be proud of.

The timing couldn’t be any better because 2016 has been Skoob’s year.

His Skoobzilla mixtape from earlier this year is still as excellent of a front-to-back play as it was when it dropped.

Trouble plans on dropping new music soon.
