New York, NY – From my day’s of attending New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico; I knew one thing to be clear! A groundbreaking rock band would someday emerge from the desert! On que, enter Stage left, comes a unique blend of five individuals with one common objective…. to make great music! The band I’m referring to is The Cordova Band; Oliver Charity-vocals, Erik Kurtz-guitar, Jason Reed-bass, Scott Guthrie-guitar, and Davis Edmonds-drums.
Armed with a new album (Staring At Fire), the band has put the World on notice! Consider this your introduction to greatness!
Since forming in 2014, the band from the desert southwest have been patiently waiting for this day; recording, producing, and writing their introduction to the world! A true labor of love, the album “Staring At Fire”, features a great medley of rocked out tracks. “Alice”, the first single from the EP features a heavy electric guitar riff with Oliver Charity screaming she doesn’t live here anymore, don’t ask her. It’s unconditional! An unforgettable tune that resonates with every true rock fan! A “Road less Traveled”, is a battle cry of one taking life by the horns on the nontraditional road, the silent battle! My favorite track on the album has to be the is the smooth even kill, “Staring At Fire“. A riffed out track which accentuates the band cohesiveness!
Overall, If you are not familiar with The Cordova Band; I think the “Staring At Fire”, project will definitely etch the name in your memory bank!
As of recent, the demand for The Cordova Band has presented opportunities to open and tour with some of the Worlds most notable national acts. Don’t be surprised to see The Cordova Band headlining on a stage near you! “The Cordova Band” is sure to leave a lasting impression on true music enthusiast with their unique brand of infused rock. Soon the ~ I love it, Keep Rock’n-Renzo
