 New York, NY –  The Buzz circulating in the Wazzup Media Group’s Newsroom  is the police in Los Angeles have placed De’Andre Way (Soulja Boy) under arrest for violation of probation.

According to the report, police were called to the home in the 3200 block of Dos Palos Drive in the Hollywood Hills area around 7a.m., Thursday morning, where the rapper resides. The officers served the routine warrant for the rappers arrest without incident. At that time, officials said a gun was recovered.  As a convicted felon, having a gun in possession would be a direct violation of his probation.  It is premature to speculate the initial reason why the police was called to the resident. However, the outspoken rapper has made quite a stir on social media lately.  Some of the firestorm is in result of the rapper brandishing firearms and making threats! We do want to reinterate, Soulja Boy is  innocent until proven guilty in a court of law!

The rapper who is known globally for the Grammy nominated anthem “Soulja Boy Tell’em – Crank That,” has several run-ins with the law spanning the last 5 years. With many entertainers taking beefs to social media as of late, the hip-hop World will have close eyes on how this shapes up. The question that ponders? Are we officially in the times where social media threats may carry the weight of permissible evidence? Hmmmmmm

We just hope that this incident may be resolved in the best interest of Soulja Boy!
