There is something to be said about “the struggle”, and then again; there is something also to be said about “remaing humble”. Well ladies and gentlemen, meet Atlanta’s Super Producer Sonny Digital. These days the Super Producer/rapper has the magic touch, with everything turning up Platinum. Just on the word of his production Alone, the young super producer champions a renaissance of talented beat makers coming up from Atlanta. Sonny Digital’s work ethic and respect speaks for itself; however, its the release of the “G.O.A.T. EP from the producer, that has the World buzzing.
Lets’ get the first thing out the way! Who drops an EP promoted by a liquor brand (Hennessy)? Who does that? As I broke the seal on my bottle of Hennessy, I poured up and pressed play! From the word go, I knew I was in for an experience. Sonny Digital always drops that, on some other type shit! The man is a pure genius. I’ve never met Sonny Digital in person, however, the way he meticulously narrates the EP, I resonate as if I put in the work. The entire project is an intimate walk in the life of the producer, with stories of what it takes to make a dream a reality. A lesson is taught from beginning to end….. and then some!
G.O.A.T. starts off with “First Call” which narrates the trials and tribulations of breaking into the game. Sonny Digital immediately grabs your ear with a riveting tale of how one of his beats ended up in the hands of Kanye West. I won’t ruin the story, but it’s all about paying dues! From paying dues’ to being regarded as one of the most sought out producers, it’s only fitting that Sonny Digital dropped his story in song. The G.O.A.T. EP features include on time flow from Swae Lee, Key!, and Black Boe. Overall, the project lives up to its’ title in emphatic fashion. Check the Stats for yourself….
