SOFIA VERGARA | BEING SUED – BY HER UNBORN KIDS!! | @wazzuptonight

SOFIA VERGARA AND NICK LOEB

New York, NY – Just when you’ve thought you have heard it all, you catch wind of downright madness like this! Actress bombshell Sofia Vergara, is allegedly being sued by – her UNBORN CHILDREN!! Yes, you read that right.

Back in 2013, Vergara and her now ex-fiancé, Nicholas Loeb, underwent in-vitro fertilization (a complex series of procedures used to treat fertility or genetic problems and assist with the conception of a child. During IVF, mature eggs are collected (retrieved) from your ovaries and fertilized by sperm in a lab) and stored the frozen embryos in a California clinic. The two then entered into an agreement, stating that they mutually agreed to bring the embryos to fruition. From there they interviewed potential surrogates, set up a trust fund for the embryos, and even named the two embryos EMMA and ISABELLA!

Though in 2014, the couple broke up. Their agreement however, failed to mention what would happen with the embryos giving the two were to call it quits. Nick sued Sofia for custody of the unborn children, but the case was ultimately dropped. Well it’s far from over, because now in 2016 stems a case that has never surfaced before in a court of law – where the law bestows person-hood onto embryos, giving them the unequivocal right to sue and be sued. The law prohibits destruction or ownership of the embryos, and any conflicts regarding them must be resolved in their best interests – which in this case would be to allow them to be implanted in a womb.

The embryos are represented by the president of Sound Legal Group, a public interest group in Virginia that advocates for the right to life. The lawyer stated that this case is about the rights of the embryos, not the rights of Vergara and Loeb. Not allowing the embryos a chance to be born, the attorney said, would take away their God given right, among other things, not permit them to inherit the trust that Nick and Sofia set up for them.

The lawsuit gives Human Embryos 4B-A (presently known as “Emma” and “Isabella”), the right to sue their biological mother to salvage their own potential lives. In the meantime as the legal battle proceeds forward, the embryos remain frozen in a tank in California.

Keep hope alive Emma and Isabella! And we thought Donald Trump winning the presidency was the oddest story to hit the press this year…
