AyyeMoe was raised in Northeast, Washington DC. AyyeMoe played four years of college basketball and one season professionally.
However, after his lone pro season, he returned home to Washington DC and decided that he wanted to chase his true passion: Music.
AyyeMoe’s goal is to make the XXL freshmen cover and eventually have a song with the artist he studied early on. “I think getting on a song with Big Bro (Lul Big Brother), Chike, (Light) Show, and (Nappy) Nappa would be my way of showing respect to them. I would make sure those are some of my toughest songs.” He says with a smile.
“Last thing I can’t forget is to thank my mom, dad, my three brothers, and two producers who really pushed me over the top. Tae Legend really got me started when I had no money. He always found a way to give me some studio time. Lastly, DJ Skooly down at Sound King Studio gave me some great advice to really help me focus on making better music and really getting my name heard. With the release of “Switch Teams,” AyyeMoe is ready to make his mark on the music scene.
