@PalayeRoyale “Boom Boom Room” Album Review
Las Vegas, Nevada ~ What Happens in Vegas, usually stay in Vegas; However, I would beg you differ!
The Fashion-Art band Palaye Royale (brothers Remington Leith [vocals], Sebastian Danzig [guitar, organs], and Emerson Barrett [drums]— have embarked on a one-way escapade to stardom with no return in sight. It was late 2013 when the indie rock group Palaye Royale earned a push pin on my bulletin board of hot bands! The single “The Underground” from the New Beginnings Ep, was enough to convert me from a journalist – to – fan! And a fan, I am! I immediately began tracking the engagements from the likes of Social Media to the sold-out shows across the globe. A build up of sorts was in the works for a new album. Well, I am proud to announce that I have the new album, “Boom Boom Room” in hand and can’t wait to let the rubber meet the road, lets’ ride!
Boom Boom Room side A (full-length album) ` Smooth to the ear, but bitter to the taste! Exactly how we like it! The long anticipated Album Boom, Boom, Room sounds like late 80’s rock infused with generation next! It’s been a while since a band has come along and changed the energy and environment within music. Until now! Palaye Royale sound resonates with the core while tantalizing the soul. An extremely rare commodity in a world of make believe! Perhaps, Palaye Royale is just what the Dr. ordered in a music industry suffocating from complacency. No cookie cutter syndrome here! With Emerson Barrett on drums, Danzig providing electrifying Riffs, and Leith on vocals, it’s a sure-fire recipe for success!
Released June 24th, on @SumerianRecords – Boom Boom Room was produced by James Iha (ex-guitarist and co-founder of The Smashing Pumpkins) and written by the band collectively. With an enormous demand and following, the album definitely lives up to the hype while accentuating its pure greatness! Track 7 ‘Ma Chérie’ featuring Sleeping with Sirens’ lead singer, Kellin Quinn is considered a musical treat of epic proportions, and I would agree in principal.
