Boston, Mass – Every now and then comes along an MC that has it all; flow, charisma, and personality, all in one! Well World, I introduce you to Rayne! Not to be confused with the forecast, RAYNE, not rain, is slowly turning the heads of hip hop enthusiast from coast to coast. At only 19 years old, this Providence, Rhode Island native can hold her own next to anyone in the game!Armed with a new visual to her hit single “On!” produced by KennyBeatz, Rayne is on a mission; setting fire to the rain as she blazes a trail for others to follow suit!
The Visual
First and Foremost, the visuals and concept is on some Next Shit! Straight Up! Directed by Greene Films, the video features a brilliant concept that accentuates Rayne’s personality to the “T”. The video begins with a commercial skit from the 1930’s explaining the concept of the telephone and leaves off with the introduction of the dial tone. That’s where Rayne picks up on the other line and commence to going ham! The song “On!” is a warning sign, or better yet shots fired to the industry of the arrival of Rayne. Needless to say, she not only makes her point clear but backs up every syllable uttered by displaying a wordplay that would make the novice mc run for cover. From Reports, On! is just the first visual sent out front as a warning shot to what’s in store for 2017. Rumors have it, that Rayne will follow up with a visual to Super Lit, if so, it would definitely set my year off!
The Forecast?
For all of you lames out, consider this your introduction to the new wave! Rayne’s unique sweet, hard edge style will eventually propel her to household status. From dropping hard-hitting jewels such as the anthem, “Super Lit”, to the infectious tune “Weed Man” and “Rhode Girl”, produced by 808 Trel, Rayne is no rookie when it comes to bringing the heat. Lyrically, Rayne is Ready for Whatever, However! For all indications point to a complete takeover of the game!
