Mila J’s soft sultry voice takes a laid back approach on the oceanic track while sprinkling Brandy’s “I Wanna Be Down,” sample on the chorus. A catchy tune that definitely stays one step ahead. Program Directors from across the globe have charmed in giving “Down” rave reviews across the board! I love it; it’s something different! Mila J definitely proves that she’s the DOWN to earth girl who just wants to be that missing piece.

The Made In Los Angeles Star brings a breath of fresh air to an industry saturated with pretty smiles and glamour styles. Produced by Immanuel Rich, the six-song project boasts the lead single, “Kickin’ Back,” “Down” and tracks like “Me & You,” a remarkable remake of Sade’s The Sweetest Taboo”! However, we must not forget “Oohwee”, my favorite track on the 213 EP; A real bad azz track that displays Mila J’s arsenal of diverse vocals and real talk persona! Mila puts her all into this project and it manifests in a great overall project.

Mila J constantly bounces back again, after again, after again! There is no questioning her dedication or work ethic to fulfill her goals! I for one consider myself a die hard fan and look forward to what the future has for Mila J! Overall, I would have to rank “213″ as a true drop the top and ride kinda project! ~Renzo
