MIKE TYSON | DRAFTED TO THE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS | @wazzuptonight

Seattle, WA – Mike Tyson is a lot of things: a former heavyweight boxing champion, an actor, a Muslim, a pigeon enthusiast, an ear devourer, a face tattooer, a press speaking and interview warlock. One thing we didn’t know Tyson was- was a professional freakin’ football player!!

The NFL draft was held this past Friday and Saturday, with Myles Garrett from Texas A&M being selected as the #1 overall pick by the Cleveland Browns. Mike Tyson, was selected No. 187 in the 6th round of the draft by the Seattle Seahawks. Now you may be thinking, “Nah, this gotta be one of them fake news stories”, or, “Wait hol’ up, don’t you have to be drafted out of freakin’ college? 1, Mike Tyson can’t even spell college let alone.. and 2, Mike Tyson is 50 freakin’ years old!! Ain’t no way..”.

Well to eradicate any and all confusion – the Seattle Seahawks drafted Mike Tyson out of the University of Cincinnati, NOT Mike Tyson the boxer! It just so happens that the NFL rookie has the same name as the boxing legend, though it is strictly coincidental. The new Seahawks DB was not named after the famed boxer; he is a third-generation Mike Tyson, and too has a 3-year-old son named Mike.

Ha ha yeah got’cha….
