Boston, Mass – Once again, the World paused as the announcement came down newswire’s that another icon has passed.  According to reports, Mary Tyler Moore passed away today at the age of 80 in the company of friends and her loving husband of 30 years. Mary Tyler Moore was a ground-breaking actress in the 60’s and 70’s who first debuted her talents as a sexy housewife, then showed the world what is was like to be a single woman on her own, turning the world on with a smile.

Mary’s personal life was not always as full of fun and laughter.  She was married young, had one child, Richard Jr who at the age 24 committed suicide.  Ms. Moore was diagnosed with diabetes in her 30’s and since that time had various health issues from that condition.

Mary embraced her illness and made the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation her passion.  Ms. Moore passed today, with her family by her side.
