New York, NY – Early this week, Top Dawg Entertainment introduced the labels newest signee Lance Skiiiwalker. TDE’s CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith revealed the Lance Skiiiwalker‘s Introverted Intuition album as part of the labels commitment to drop 6 studio albums by years end. You may recall the name “Lance Skiiiwalker“, Lance has a feature on ScHoolboy Q’s “Know Ya Wrong, and Kendrick Lamar’s “untitled 04”; however, the skilled singer/ songwriter/ producer is ready to claim his place on the highly successful label. To say expectations are HIGH, would be an understatement.
Introverted Intuition:
The Concept: The concept of human behavior and love interpreted in a obscure manner. The album holds serve to it’s title with a different, but original feel. Needless to say, the album personifies substance and creativity in its ability to sparks the curiosity of the soul.
Sonically: The album is an electro-funk gumbo of original R&B tracks mixed with a conscious hip-hop vibe. With 13 tracks, Lance Skiiiwalker creates narratives throughout the plot, while painting a lyrical portrait of a man in search of serenity. Lead by the previously released singles “Speed” and “Lovers Lane”, the album is a open book on love, strife, and reality from Lance’s view. The albums’ production team consists of TaeBeast, Chef Byer, Soundwave, DJ Dahi, Stefan Ponce, Dave Free, Rocket, and Frank Dukes. The project also includes two features with Schoolboy Q on “Toaster” and Michael Anthony on “Stockholm”. Overall the album lives up to the hype, and then some.
Whoa, Nelly! It appears TDE has struck Platinum once again! This Lance Skiiiwalker guy, is a pure genius! It’s Different, It’s classic, It’s artistry at it’s Finest..but most of All, Its Real!
