Throughout my journalistic career, I’ve interviewed hundreds of photographers; however, there’s something different about Karizza. Karizza is blessed with an unbelievable eye for beauty that supersedes the mystery behind the lens. A fashion model herself, Karizza understands the concept behind using the so-called trash of the world to mold art into the subject with the click of her camera. The obvious attraction between a great photographer and its’ subject, burns deep inside Karizza, releasing a passion that pours onto the edit floor with every roll of film.
Internationally recognized among the Industry elites in Fashion, Music, and Film, Karizza is in high demand these days’ with a portfolio that’s second to none! Recently we caught up with Karizza in the Dream Downtown Hotel for a lavish Japanese-style brunch at Megu’s New York! We discussed in the candid interview – photography, life, and her thoughts on the new found Renaissance of creativity!

WT: Who is Karizza(Photographer) ? Where are you from?
Karizza: Karizza photographer is symbiosis, of modern trash creativity and luxury
retro elegance. My team provides unique photography, video, and design
service. I am originally from Ukraine but I
call myself a daughter of the world. I’ve been in the field of photography for nearly
10 years. I started as a photo model in Milano (Italy), then
studied makeup and style, I’ve worked with some of Europe’s most famous photographers!
WT: What inspires you in regards to photography?
Karizza: Everything around me is my inspiration. I look at
people not through a modern prism, but through native instincts. I don’t care
about masks people wear every day!
WT: Explain what is Modern Trash Creativity?
Karissa: Modern Trash Creativity shows to people what they want
to hide but give it the face what they want to see.
WT: Where do you see the photography industry going in near future?
Karizza: Everything in life is going in a spiral way. Everything that actual in
past will be actual in future. I hope one day somebody will break
that rule.
WT: How do you discover Open hidden features in your photography?
Karizza: Sometimes because of non-self-confidence, people hide something really
interesting and unique. Big city life dictates what is beautiful,
what is modern, how people should act. Stereotypes destroy personalities.
I want to discover the inner person in my subjects, the inner beauty.
The real person, not the person behind the mask.
WT: I know you are available all over the World; however, it’s New York, Los
Angeles, and Miami where the base of your Clientele reside…. What trends
have you noticed in the above markets?
Karizza: I have clients everywhere, and they are all different. In Miami, it is mostly public people, In LosAngeles models and actor, in New York fashion designers, bloggers, and
companies. I am everywhere where people need me. I love America because
each state and city it is like a different world. In Miami, people prefer
glamor, in Los Angeles people express freedom of views and photo and video
there show it, in New York, it is high fashion and minimalism.
WT: What’s next for Karizza?
Karizza: The aim is to create big photo and video production center and school of
photography with offices in every big city to have the possibility to help
new talents to appear, to help clients to solve their problems with
photo, video, and design. We should become as a McDonalds but in photo

WT: Any high profile clients we can brag upon?
Karizza: I’ve worked with many great personalities, as top model Victoria
Silvstedt (Miss Sweden, playmate of the year, who was working with Chanel,
Christian Dior, Gucci etc), top model of Next Alina Baykova, such
companies as Mercedes-Benz Ukraine, magazines as L’Officiel Ukraine,
Harpers Bazar, XXL, and many others
WT: What advice would you give someone interested in the field of photography?
Karizza: The best advice is to find out what photographer really likes to shoot and
not what is popular to shoot. Important to understand that only your own
style is great and right or wrong doesn’t exist. Create your world with
your ideas and don’t be afraid about what people will think and if people
like it or not as soon as you love it it is great.
