Jaycube Shines at the 1st Edition of Felabration New York

The Afro breath of fresh air was one to remember as musicians gathered at The Hall at MP, Brooklyn New York, to pay homage to the iconic afrobeat artist Fela Kuti.

Felabration is an annual event dedicated to his legacy, and appreciation of his artistry. This year marks the 1st edition of Felabration in New York, endorsed by Fela’s Son, Femi Kuti.

Music Blvd’s fast rising Afropop Artist “Jaycube” caught our attention as he gives a prolific and crowd pleasing performance to the audience.

His stage presence is quite commendable, combined with a well put together choreography with his back up dancer. Others acts gave a memorable performance as well, and showcase the afro music lifestyle from their wardrobe dressing to their facial painting.

Through Felabration, the legacy of Fela Kuti lives on.
