Stockholm, Sweden ~ The WazzupTonight International Summer Tour kicked off in Stockholm, Sweden to an array of amazing talent. The buzz circulating this particular Saturday was surrounding singer/songwriter Fay Kendel. I apologize for being so rude; let me introduce you! “Fay Kendel” is an amazing woman who possesses a strong sultry voice, trained pitch, and great vocal tone, which keeps it all intact! What more could you ask for? In an industry filled with here today’s, and gone tomorrows; it’s great to see a Real Artist emerge from the shadows. With that being said, “Fay Kendel” puts me in the mind of the Great Queen of R&B, “Mary J. Blige”. Tall boots to fill; however, Fay is so “Deserving of the comparison”!

Armed with a new single, “So Good” , two summer club remixes; “Actions Speak Louder Than Words” & “I feel Joy“, Fay Kendel is ready to make her mark on the International stage. The summer remixes, mixed by Englands Dj Jeremy Sylvester (@jeremysylvester) and Dj Donovan Fritz have dance floors on fire from the UK to Los Angeles, California. The uptempo house joints add a flare of electricity to the already stacked portfolio, further solidifying Fay Kendel as an all round musician. A perfect compliment to Fays’ timeless old school roots to true R&B music; “Action Speaks Louder Than Words” beautifully displays her matured vocals with a steady rhythm. Fay has a unique sense of inner power and warmth that captivates the hearts and minds of listeners worldwide. The perfect ingredients for longevity in this business!

There is something about Fay’s vocals that fuses music and humanity. Fay Kendel has an amazing ability which bridges the soul in ways many could only imagine. For example, my favorite cut from the Fay Kendel R&B collection is by far the piano-driven “Guardian Angel”! A real powerful ballad which embodies Fay’s rich vocal pitch and tone. The tracks’ message is an open letter to her birth mother who gave her up for adoption! A resounding tune that serves as a source of inspiration for all that may be fighting a battle with forgiveness! I wish for just one day the World could view decisions made by others in a different light! Maybe a little far-fetched; however, Fay Kendel has done her diligence in song. Through What may seem like pain like a dagger in the heart, could be the unselfish love reciprocated by your “Guardian Angel”.

The song expresses my feeling of no remorse or resentment towards my birth mother for the extremely difficult choice that she made by giving me up for adoption. I think it takes enormous bravery and courage and it is an extremely selfless act because she wanted something better for me.
I know and feel that she has been thinking about me! I have always felt her sweet soul and spirit as a guardian angel in my life. ` Fay Kendel
