Heat Check: “Summer Bangerz” EP x Rotimi @rotimi

Jersey City, New Jersey – There goes that Man! To convey the title “The Man”, one must possess the accolades which accompany such a role. In steps singer/actor @Rotimi with his anticipated project titled, SUMMER BANGERZ.  Much Like his role on the hit series “Power”; Rotimi goes hard while injecting high energy and originality from beginning to end with the SB project. Can you say, “Mission accomplished”!  From the big screen, to recording in the bathroom, Rotimi’s work ethic transcends a candid ability to fill a void.  Signed to @50cent  G-Unit label, it is evident that Rotimi is here to kick ass and chew bubble gum! And if Summer Bangerz is any indication, I would say, “he is all out of gum”!

Although, not the first actor to juggle both the big screen and music simultaneously, Rotimi objective is to offer a subtle change to the norm.  Not to waste a moment of the opportunity, Rotimi went to work in the studio to release a debut project.  And in 2015 , Rotimi dropped his first hit single “Lotto” featuring 50 Cent, to rave reviews.  To follow up, Rotimi released a series of projects which included the edgy single “Netflix and Chill’, Produced by Scott Supreme.  The benefits of  consistency is the constant demand for more, which has translates into a massive loyal following and record download streams.

Fast-forward to present:

Summer Bangerz= 4 bangers in the clip, with one in the chamber.  The five piece mixtape style ep lets off warning shots with heaters produced by Corte Ellis, Bongo, and Brandon “B.A.M.” Hodge.  Who would have expected such a fire collection of Summer joints on one project?  The subtle remix of chart topping classics take me to a good place with the likes  of LL Cool J’s “Doin It,” Black Rob’s “Woah,” and Mya’s “Movin On.”  How many hip-hop vets you know has the cahunas to touch such classics in a studio cypher, let alone,  release it to the world?  I’ll Wait! The Summer Bangerz ep shall serve as a prelude of  creativity and lyrical wordplay we can expect from the full length project
