New York, New York – What do you call a collection of recorded music that somehow finds itself, after being missing for nearly 2 years?  That’s exactly the position  DJ Whoo Kid  found himself in after stumbling on a thumb drive in the G-Unit studio! It’s only fitting that such a find should be repackaged and shared with the World. Wait no longer! DJ Whoo Kid presents The Lost Flash Drive; a collection of unreleased G-Unit tracks for your listening pleasure.

The 12 track mixtape signifies a reunion of some of the G-Units top brass on one project.  Featuring Tony Yayo, Kidd Kidd, Young Buck, Lloyd Banks! Nevertheless, add 50 Cent on the bonus track and you have the GGGGG……. GGGG Unit!  It’s been a minute since all of the cast was on one body of work!  The mixtape  comes courtesy of lost audio and video footage from the G-Unit Radio Series. The footage reportedly even includes some uncut footage of the crew hanging in the studio vibing to “Set The Pick (unaware of camera recording). The mixtape is full of original and classic tunes with overflows from buck on tracks by Outkast, No Limit, Pac, and Three 6 Mafia.

Let’s ride with track 2, “Superville” ….. a true get ya mind right track which features a taste of the lyrical slaughter of Lloyd Banks, Yayo, Kidd Kidd, and Young Buck! Up next, is a real B-Boy track; “Fatality” delivers that real heat with the classic story of gettin it fast, if ya can last!  Overall, the mixtape is exactly what we been missing! The timing couldn’t have been better! A full length project from 50 is rumored to drop sometime between now and Christmas; however, The Lost Flash Drive will keep us at bay for a minute.

Since forming, G-Unit has released two studio albums – 2003’s Beg For Mercy and 2008’s T.O.S: Terminate On Sight. In Addition, G-Unit dropped The Beauty of Independence and The Beast Is G-Unit EPS over the last two years.  All things considered, DJ Whoo Kids discovery may carry the significance of  the launching of the Apollo, or perhaps the Zapruder tape! Who knows? Nevertheless;  we can breathe a sigh of relief, The G-Unit is back!

In any event, G-Unit hits the bullseye with “The Lost Flash Drive”; a true ride or die project! And if you didn’t know? We riding on this side~ Wouldn’t have it no #Effen other Way~ Renzo
