New York, NY – Coming to a theater near you soon, is a biopic about the late Enzo Ferrari, the creator of the prestigious car brand widely known as Ferrari. Ferrari vehicles are known for their sleek appearance, raw power, and superior handling.

The film is scheduled to begin production in 2017. Directing is Michael Mann, Vendian Entertainment and Cecchi Gori Pictures are producing the motion picture, with distribution being handled by Paramount Pictures. The movie will follow the rise of the Ferrari as a luxury vehicle in the 1950’s era. The film is inspired by Brock Yates‘ 1991 book, “Enzo Ferrari: The Man, the Cars, the Race, the Machine.”

Noomi Rapace is rumored to play Ferrari’s wife, Laura Dominica. Who’s portraying Enzo Ferrari in the picture has yet to be determined, for Christian Bale was previously cast in the role though eventually backed out of the project. The Ferrari car has gained much notoriety in the pop culture due to various hip hop artists mentioning the Ferrari name in their songs, such as 50 Cent when he rapped, “50, aka Ferrari F-50, aka 50 Cent now f*ck wit me”.

We look forward to seeing this film in the near future. In the meantime, check out some awesome Ferrari models below.

LaFerrari: The prancing horse stepped into the 21st century with the $1 million LaFerrari hybrid hypercar. Just 499 examples of the car will ever be built, and all are spoken for.

The 166 was powered by a 2.0-liter, 90-horsepower V12 engine. The Daytona's 4.4-liter, 352-horsepower V-12 provided the brawn to go with the car's sleek design and driving dynamics.
