NFL REPORTER ERIN ANDREWS | BATTLED CANCER THIS SEASON AND DIDN’T MISS ONE GAME! – NOW SHE’S CANCER FREE FOR THE SUPERBOWL | @wazzuptonight

Los Angeles, CA – Erin Andrews, is our new hero. She has shown us that the power of the mind, is the mightiest force in the entire universe. This NFL season, Andrews did what she does best which is report from the sideline. What viewers were totally in the dark of – is that Andrews reported the whole time while diagnosed with cancer!

September 2016, Week 3 of the NFL season, Erin Andrews received the news that she had cervical cancer during a call while she was in New York. That call came on Saturday, but nevertheless the next day Andrews reported from the sideline at the New York Giants and Washington Redskins game. Despite the grim news, Andrews told doctors she wasn’t going to miss any work. Oh, and best believe she kept her promise! Andrews continued to report at games for weeks, never minding her condition while simultaneously keeping it a secret from the world.

October 11, 2016, Andrews underwent surgery. Five days later on October 16th, Erin stood tall while reporting on the sideline of the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers game! “Should I have been standing for a full game five days after surgery? Let’s just say the doctor didn’t recommend that,” Andrews told MMQB.

This year, Fox Sports has the honor of covering Super Bowl LI. Right before her October surgery, Andrews told her oncologist: “I’m not watching any football games at home. This is [Fox’s] Super Bowl year, and I’m not missing the Super Bowl”. Well on November 17, 2016, Andrews was informed that she was free of cancer and would not need radiation or chemotherapy; ultimately she was cleared to work the Super Bowl.

Wow what a story! Erin spoke things into existence, and then watched those things manifest before her eyes. Her tenaciousness, steadfastness, and indestructible faith demonstrates to us that “if she can do it, we can do it!”.

Thanks Erin for providing us with confidence, bravery, and hope.
