As I unwrapped the “Innocent Gun” CD, I couldn’t help but notice the provocative artwork! Wow! “A picture worth a 1000 words”, joking to myself as I insert and press play! Immediately, I was blown away by the opening track “No Trippin“, a heartfelt introduction into the World of E.VY! Then the beat drops…. and the rest is a musical orgasm on viagra. Trust me, the vibe is sick with a crazy enticing steelo! E.VY has that “IT” factor!! I can’t describe “It”, but she has “IT”! In an industry full of cookie cutter hear today, gone tomorrows; it’s safe to say E.VY stands out with a style thats original! Finally, a true vocalist with a guided purpose who stands no comparison! Okayyyyy, lets ride!
On the track “Dismissed” E.VY tells it how it is; you messed up, now hit the door! A uptempo tune that solicits the assistance of Ms. Fit’s clever wordplay. Without fail, the entire 8-track project is definitely a declaration to the World that E.VY is a force to be reckoned with! No doubt about it, Innocent Gun is the project that will elevate E.Vy to the forefront in the next year or two…..
