Los Angeles, CA – They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well the above picture of hip hop megastar Drake cuddling with the legendary Jennifer Lopez, is worth like a GAZILLION words!
Earlier this morning, both musicians/actors posted this photo on their official Instagram pages. No explanation needed, the pic unquestionably confirms that they are now an item. As suspected, the booed-up image of the two has already stirred up controversy and animosity. Pop icon Rihanna (Drake’s ex-girlfriend) unfollowed JLo on her social media pages after catching wind of the two’s relationship.
Speculations of a possible relationship between the two were ignited earlier this month when Drake attended two of Jennifer’s Las Vegas concerts back-to-back, and he also hosted an exclusive gathering that she attended. In addition, a video surfaced several days ago of JLo and Drizzy together on Christmas attending what appeared to be a group therapy session.
“This year I can honestly say my heart is full – this year had its ups and downs”, Jennifer posted. “I feel surrounded by love and overflowing with gratitude for the many new blessings in my life”. No wonder Rih Rih unfollowed her!! Prior to Drake and JLo becoming an item, Rihanna and Jennifer were longtime pals and big fans of one another’s work. JLo and Rihanna even spent a past Christmas together with friends and family in Rih’s native Barbados.
The tea spilling around the room, is that Drake got with JLo to get revenge on Jennifer’s ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs. Back in 2014, it was reported that Puff Daddy confronted Drake at LIV nightclub over a song in which he felt Drake stole. Puff felt disrespected, and after an exchange of words one thing led to another and it’s said that Diddy laid paws on The 6 god. As payback for the physical altercation, people are saying that Drake “played chess” by waiting and then bagging “the one that got away” from Puff – JLo.
We’re not sure if Drake’s intention was revenge, though we highly doubt it. Nevertheless, congratulations to Jennifer Lopez and Drake on their new relationship! We wish them nothing but happiness.
