DJ Chuck Chillout – Vh1 The Breaks

New York, NY – The magic he creates with Vinyl Records and old school scratchin’ is impeccable.  The way his ear takes to a melody is amazing. His love for the Hip Hop industry stems back from the early days.
DJ Chuck ChillOut hasn’t always had it easy. Chuck Chillout received his start as an opener for some of the biggest names in the game such as Public Enemy, LL Cool J, and Ice Cube. What was really supposed to be no more than a 10 minute opening act, turned into something so much greater.  He gave the audience something they never had before, a true and authentic vibe. Crowds would get out of their seats and dance, as they reminisced back to what Hip Hop truly was.
His love for the game and turntables lead him to become one of the founding DJ’s on 98.7 KISS FM. Being the first DJ to display Public Enemy’s new form of Hip Hop on the airwaves was only the beginning. DJ Chuck Chillout would eventually continue to dominate the airwaves, taking his talents to WBLS back in the 80’s, he remained one of the most legendary DJ’s ever since. Recently featured in VH1’s ‘The Breaks’, Chuck continues to keep his legacy and his impact to the game alive.
