MICHELLE WILLIAMS ON PLANS FOR A DESTINY’S CHILD BIOPIC! | @wazzuptonight

Los Angeles, CA – Awww sookie sookie now!! Destiny’s Child…biopic?…we say BRING IT! we right here (DMX voice). With all the hype surrounding Rhythm & Blues/Hip Hop biopics such as “Straight Outta Compton“, “The New Edition Story“, “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story“, “All Eyez On Me“, and others, we are super geeked up about seeing a film that depicts the life and times of legendary female R&B group Destiny’s Child.

Destiny’s Child is #4 on the list of All Time Best-Selling Girl Groups, selling a whopping 60 MILLION records to date! The group is most known for introducing us to Beyoncé, perhaps the greatest female R&B artist ever to grace a microphone. Beyoncé is the most nominated woman and the 2nd most-awarded woman in Grammy history, having received 62 Grammy nominations and 22 Grammy Award wins. In regards to Pop culture notoriety, NO ONE (well maybe besides Kim Kardashian) is even in the same league as her majesty Queen Bey! Beyoncé is one half of music’s most influential power-couple (Jay-Z being the other half), with the two having a combined net worth of 1 BILLION dollars.

Another iconic R&B diva, Kelly Rowland, is also a product of Destiny’s Child. Aside from music, Rowland has held actress roles in TV shows and feature films such as “Empire“, “Freddy vs Jason“, and “Being Mary Jane“; Rowland too is formerly a “The X Factor” panel judge.

Destiny’s Child’s journey was quite tumultuous, from changing group members multiple times to individual and group tribulations. The original members of Destiny’s Child were Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett; the final remaining group members were Knowles, Rowland, and Michelle Williams.

In the following video, Williams discusses on “The Real” her thoughts on the Destiny’s Child biopic.
