CymcoLé Releases Gunplay Feat. Rich Homie Quan | WazzupTonight

New York, NY (April 20, 2017) Last week the emerging R&B/Pop star CymcoLé released her latest single featuring Rich Homie Quan. The tongue-in-cheek track finds the singer asking her guy of interest to make the target. Hence, the gunplay reference.

With the fast output of records today, it is a rarity to hear a well-produced upstart that sounds like a home cooked meal, or that makes you feel good. We can consider the amount of promising urban pop artists on our hands. Influenced by urban pop legends like Rihanna and Beyoncé, the Ohio-native works diligently to break through in the recording industry.

Outside of urban contemporary music, she is heavily influenced by Caribbean music, but “Gunplay” ushers in her sexy yet edgy side on a hip-hop beat.

CymcoLé shared the following about working with Rich Homie Quan, “His vibes were cool. Shooting the video with him was a good experience. He was actually on time if not early to the shoot. The song has a double meaning.”

“Gunplay” is a single from her forthcoming extended play, “Shadows.” The official music video featuring Rich Homie Quan and the EP will be out this Summer.

Last year, CymcoLé toured with Marc E. Bassy. This year, she performed at an official SXSW emerging music showcase for the first time. She caused a frenzy! When she isn’t performing, she’s working in the studio with rising singer-songwriter Liana Bank$, rapper Nick Grant, record producer Bangladesh, and more.

She performed at 2016’s REVOLT Music Conference in Miami, FL. Billboardmentioned the singer in its coverage. GaloreREVOLTSingersroomHip-Hop WeeklyBossip, and Cornerstone’s 1200 Squad have written about her first (audio/video) release, “Bombs Away.”

CymcoLé will headline the BxC Music Festival on May 7 in New York City.
