Chris Brown To Co-Star In Women’s Basketball Film | Women, Are NOT Happy!

Los Angeles, CA — She Ball, a feature film directed/written/produced by Nick Cannon, is scheduled for release sometime this year. The movie follows the love of basketball through the trials and tribulations of Avery Watts (played by Cannon), who recruits the baddest women’s street-ball league in the city to assist him in saving the besieged Inglewood Community Center; which he manages, all while attempting to raise his 7-year-old daughter.

The motion picture’s to star Cannon, Rebecca De Mornay (The Hand That Rocks The Cradle), Faizon Love (Friday), Evan Ross (ATL) and . . . Chris Breezy. Yes, Chris Brown too, is set to play a major role in the film. Now that may not sound like much news, but, when you mix Brown into a movie who’s theme surrounds women empowerment — well, that’s when you place a ticking time bomb in your hands!

Cannon received serious backlash (mostly from women) as a result of his choice to hire Brown due to the “Pills & Automobiles” singer’s highly-publicized history of domestic abuse. Cannon responded to the criticism by saying: “”What about Sean Penn? They ever hate on his past and the movies he did? It’s definitely a double standard. They want to turn a black man into a monster any chance they can.”

Penn faced accusations that he abused Madonna for years during their marriage in the latter part of the 80’s, however Madonna later said that Penn never put his hands on her. In contrast, Brown was convicted in 2009 of felony assault for beating up Rihanna, while his ex-gf Karrueche Tran was granted a restraining order against him in 2017.

Do you feel Cannon is right or that Brown is the LAST person in the world they should of considered for this film?
