New York, NY – This just breaks our hearts. Music icon Britney Spears, deceased?? Wow she was so young and had so much life to live. Okay you can put away the Kleenex tissue box for now – this is only a hoax.
The above photo displays Sony Music‘s Twitter account, tweeting out earlier that Britney Spears accidentally passed away. Reportedly, Sony’s account has been hacked yet again by a high-profiled cyber attacker. Twitter totally freaked out this morning when the official Sony Music Global page posted the tweet claiming Spears went home to meet her maker. To ease your worries, Britney is very alive and very well.
Minutes after Sony’s tweet went out, new tweets appeared by OurMine Security — saying Sony’s account had been compromised and that Spears was not dead. OurMine has been connected to several high-profile hacking cases; supposedly they’ve hacked Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, and it’s rumored they hacked Netflix earlier this month. OurMine has warned that they are simply “testing your security.”
Let’s just hope OurMine doesn’t hack WAZZUPTONIGHT’s account! WAZZUP is very much glad to hear Britney is okay though. We love you Brit!
